Dey & Bergen, a new apartment community along the riverfront in Harrison, N.J., has begun leasing. The 242-unit luxury transit-oriented project is developed by BNE Real Estate Group, and partners Hornrock Properties and Canoe Brook Development.
Situated at the corner of Dey and Bergen Streets, near a tranquil segment of the Passaic River, the apartment community will feature larger-than-average studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments and more than 45,000 square feet of amenities.
Features and finishes of the apartments include oversized windows offering city and water views, 9-foot ceilings, champagne oak flooring, custom modular closets and in-unit washers and dryers. A co-working lounge with private office space is among the more prominent common-area amenities of Dey & Bergen.
Amenity and lounge spaces were designed by interior designer Mary Cook Associates, which imbued the property with a mid-century modern aesthetic.
HOT MARKET
Once a hub of New Jersey industrial, Harrison has morphed into one of the most avidly-sought rental markets in the Garden State. The reasons have much to do with a location convenient to employment, shopping, dining and entertainment.
A 20-minute PATH train commute gets residents to Manhattan. The New Jersey Turnpike and Route 280 furnish access to the Holland tunnel and primary job hubs throughout the state.
The Prudential Center and New Jersey Performing Arts Center, where many popular events are staged, are both situated right across the river. And Harrison is the location of Red Bull Arena, home to the Red Bulls professional soccer team.
Immediate occupancy is offered at Dey & Bergen, where monthly rents start at $1,850. Three months ago, Ironstate and Pegasus began leasing activities in Harrison.
