StreetLights Residential has opened the third phase of The Canals at Grand Park, a multifamily development in the Dallas suburb of Frisco, Texas. Situated at 4545 Mission Ave., The Margo is a four-story development delivering 358 luxury apartments. The project’s residences encompass a range from studios to three-bedroom layouts, as well as townhomes. Units range in size from 507 to 2,094 square feet. The Canals at Grand Park’s first and second phases, The Kathryn and The Maxwell, were completed earlier.
Features and finishes of apartments include dine-in islands, pull-out trash doors in kitchen cabinets, custom lighting accents, wood-style flooring and 10-foot-high ceilings. In select units, The Margo makes available Smart Cooking islands featuring four induction safety cooking stations, two warming stations and integrated phone chargers. The islands are able to readily transform from a cooktop to a functional work surface.
The intelligent kitchen island is offered at no other multifamily communities in the U.S. other than The Margo and The Jackson in Arlington. The latter is part of a large-scale master-planned community called The Viridian. A Makers creative space and potting shed leads the list of common-area amenities at The Margo.

The Margo’s location is among its most attractive aspects. The architect of record on The Margo is StreetLights Creative Studio. The leasing and amenity spaces were designed by Ink + Oro. Property management is being handled by Gables Residential. Together, the three phases of The Canals at Grand Park encompass a total of 1,050 residential units.
