Multifamily developer The Dinerstein Cos. (TDC) has officially topped off its newest  multifamily property in Houston, Aspire Post Oak. Designed by internationally-acclaimed architectural firm Gensler, the high-rise is located in the vibrant, walkable Uptown District.

Situated on a 1.6-acre site at the corner of Post Oak and San Felipe, across the street from Whole Foods, the 383-unit mixed-use, 40-story tower will feature 33 residential floors with one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouse options. Below those floors will be seven floors of residential and commercial parking. Retail and restaurant space, including 15,506 square feet to be leased to a nationally-known restaurant concept and expected to further activate Post Oak Blvd., has been reserved for the ground floor.

Features and finishes of the apartments, which average 1,210 square feet, include in-unit washer-dryers, high-tech luxury electronic features, modern kitchens, European-inspired bathrooms and private balconies. An infinity-edged pool with tanning decks and adjacent aqua lounge is a highlight of the community’s upscale amenity suite.

AHEAD OF SCHEDULE

The topping out of the high-rise project was originally scheduled to occur in January, 2021. That puts general contractor Ludlow & Associates Construction months ahead of schedule. Leasing is slated to begin in the latter part of 2021. Rents will start at $3,000 a month.

The iconic Uptown District is among the most appealing, pedestrian-friendly and high-end enclaves in Houston. Aspire Post Oak’s private balconies will offer views of the nearby Galleria District, as well as downtown Houston and Memorial Park.

Aspire Post Oak is part of TDC’s Aspire Living Collection. The portfolio of high-end rental properties includes developments in Southern California, Texas, Phoenix, Denver and Nashville. Aspire Post Oak is the tallest TDC development to date. Earlier this year, TDC sold the 378-unit Mezzo Kirby Med Center, a Houston property 2 miles from the Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical complex.
